Hello! We’re Martine and Andy — the team behind The Coffee Cart.
We launched our business in 2023 as a semi-retirement adventure, hoping to slow things down while still staying connected to the people around us. Our vision was simple: to serve genuinely good, quality coffee from a purpose-built mobile coffee van, and to create a friendly space wherever we go.
Martine spent over 30 years working in child protection social work, supporting children and families with kindness and empathy. These days, she brings that same warm, thoughtful approach to every conversation at the coffee window.
Andy comes from a long career in finance, but he was more than ready to swap office life for the buzz of coffee making. Now he’s happiest perfecting a smooth espresso and sharing a friendly chat with customers.
Together, we’ve created The Coffee Cart as a place where great coffee and genuine connection come together. Whether you meet us at a market, community event, festival, workplace, or private celebration, we want every visit to feel relaxed, welcoming, and personal.
